Bach Ma National Park is located in Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province. The park is a part of the North Truong Son range, which includes many mountain ranges running horizontally from West to East. Spanning over a total area of nearly 37,500 hectares, Bach Ma National Park is a large primeval forest hosting a wide array of plant and animal species. It is home to over 2,400 plant species, including rare and endemic ones. The park also harbors more than 1,700 animal species, including several endangered species such as the red-shanked douc langur, Annamite striped rabbit, and Owston's civet. There is an entrance fee to access Bach Ma National Park. Specifically, it costs VND 60,000 for adults and VND 20,000 for children.

How to get to Bach Ma National Park?

Bach Ma National Park is 40 kilometers from Hue’s city center and 65 kilometers from Da Nang. You can drive a motorbike, hire a taxi or a private car to get to the park. Departing from Hue City, you can drive along the 1A Highway to Phu Loc Town. Keep going until you see the road sign to Bach Ma National Park. Following the sign, you will reach the park’s gate. If you depart from Da Nang, you will pass through the Hai Van Pass to Cau Hai Market. From here, turn left to Tran Dinh Tuc Street to get to the park.

Keep going from Ngu Ho, you will reach Do Quyen Waterfall, an artistic masterpiece of nature. The trail leading up to Do Quyen waterfall is a winding slope but has a fascinating landscape with pine trees, palm trees, and woody ferns.
