7:00 am: Pick up from your hotel, we exit Hanoi on a highway and get on nicer winding roads after Thai Nguyen town. The scenery gets more and more beautiful as we dive into a remote region of the national park’s buffer zone.

We should enter the national park in the mid-afternoon. Our vehicle drops us at the home of our hosts in a small hamlet that is nicely developed in tourism and hospitality. Enjoy a hearty lunch before setting off on an afternoon boat excursion across the serene lake, exploring its tranquil beauty and visiting the mesmerizing Puong cave. As evening falls, indulge in a delicious dinner and experience the warmth of a traditional Tay family's house-on-stilts, where you'll spend the night, immersing yourself in the rich local culture and surroundings.

Say goodbye to the host after breakfast, we're journeying towards Cao Bang through mesmerizing mountainous terrain. The ride offers a seamless route, allowing you to immerse yourself in the stunning landscape. Pause at the picturesque Quang Uyen commune for a delightful local house lunch, before venturing into the world of craftsmanship. Explore nearby handicraft villages, including the intricate Phia Thap incense craft and the skilled Phuc Sen blacksmith craft.

In the morning, we leave our homestay and venture to the awe-inspiring Ban Gioc waterfall. Located on the border of Vietnam and China, this breathtaking cascade is a true gem waiting to be discovered. The falls stretch over 300 meters, creating a dramatic scene as water tumbles down in tiers, surrounded by lush greenery and towering cliffs. 

But the excitement doesn't stop there. Our next stop is the Nguom Ngao cave, a subterranean realm adorned with stunning stalactites and stalagmites that seem to come to life in the gentle glow of the lighting. 

As the afternoon unfolds, our path leads us to Lang Son, where you'll check-in to a comfortable hotel for the night. Immerse yourself in the city's ambiance and settle in for a restful overnight stay.

As a new day dawns, we depart from Lang Son after breakfast, embarking on a scenic drive toward the captivating Halong City. The road reveals picturesque vistas, a prelude to the coastal beauty that awaits. By mid-morning, around 11 a.m., you'll find yourself in Halong City, perfectly timed to embark on a cruise that suits your preferences. End of our service.
