8:30 PM - We depart to Hanoi Railway Station to catch the night train to Lao Cai.

Traveling by train from Hanoi to Lao Cai offers a traditional and authentic experience. The train cabins are generally basic but functional. The default option is a 4-berth sleeper cabin, where you're likely to share the space with other passengers. We also offer an upgraded option of a 2-berth private cabin which provides more space and privacy, ensuring a cozier journey.

Around 6:00 AM – Upon arrival at Lao Cai train station, our driver awaits to whisk you away to the captivating town of Sapa. This scenic trail leads you through breathtaking landscapes, where you'll have the chance to visit local houses, gaining first-hand insights into the daily lives of the communities that call this region home. A tasty lunch at a local house in Lao Chai further enriches your cultural experience.

As the sun begins to set, you'll find yourself at our charming riverside lodge in Ta Van, a serene oasis nestled amidst nature's embrace. The soothing sounds of the flowing river accompany you as you settle in for an unforgettable overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquility of the Sapa Valley.

Leaning after breakfast, we’ll delve deeper into the valley discovery trek. As the day progresses, your adventure continues to My Son, where the Xa Pho people reside, offering a rare glimpse into their unique way of life. 14:00 - 14:30 - Comfortable shuttle bus departs from Sapa to Hanoi. Enjoy beautiful views driving along the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. The bus is equipped with large individual seats, A/C, and wifi. There are 2 stops on the way and dinner is at your own cost. 

You’ll arrive at the Hanoi center at around 20:00 and have a quick transfer to your hotel. You’ll spend the night in Hanoi.

8:00 AM - pick up from your hotel and set off on a drive to Hai Phong City by an express bus. The driving takes around 2.5 hours passing lush rice fields of the Red River Delta.

Upon reaching Hai Phong City at 10:30 AM, we'll board a speedboat that will whisk us away to the picturesque Cat Ba Island. A delightful 20-minute ride will transport you to the enchanting Cat Ba Eco Lodge, where you'll check in and savor a delicious lunch.

In the afternoon, we will be ready for a light trek to the Butterfly Valley, we'll head through a lush landscape of litchi orchards, sweet potato fields, and thriving pine forests. At the trek's end, you'll discover the secluded and stunning village of Liên Minh, tucked away from the island's bustling main areas. The valley itself is a vision of green pastures, where cows and buffalo graze peacefully. We'll pay a visit to a local family, taking a break and immersing ourselves in their way of life before retracing our steps back to the lodge.

As the day turns into night, enjoy a delectable dinner and settle in for a peaceful overnight stay at the Cat Ba Eco Lodge.

8:30 AM: A quick transfer takes you to Beo Pier. Here, you'll board a traditional boat that will transport you into the heart of Lan Ha Bay. As we cruise through the bay, take in the mesmerizing sights of local life on floating fish farms and houses. Get ready to kayak and explore the hidden cave and tunnel systems, with the tide permitting our exploration.

At 12:30 AM, a delectable spread of fresh Vietnamese cuisine awaits you on the boat. After lunch, there's time for a refreshing swim or snorkeling before our boat makes its way back to Beo Pier.

Disembark from the boat around 14:30 PM, we'll transfer you back to the lodge. Enjoy another night in Cat Ba island.

Morning will be free at your leisure. Around noon time, we check out and embark on an express bus which brings you back to Hanoi.

Spend some time in Hanoi for dinner (at your own cost) before heading to Hanoi railway station at 6:30 PM to board a night train to Dong Hoi.

Upon arrival at Dong Hoi train station or airport, we will promptly collect you and provide comfortable transportation to Phong Nha. Before commencing the tour, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing break and breakfast at a local restaurant.

At 8:30 AM, we'll be ready for a team meeting and get some outline of the trip details and safety briefing. Following this, we embark on a 1-hour car transfer to the trailhead, marking the beginning of an unforgettable trek to Elephant Cave. Delve deep into the mysterious cave, where ancient wonders await your exploration. 

Our journey continues as we trek through the enchanting Ma Da Valley, taking in the lush jungle scenery. Lunch will be served when you arrive at the valley, and then the afternoon is yours to savor, whether you choose to swim in the crystal-clear lake, set up camp in the wilderness, or simply relax and unwind amidst the jungle's serene embrace. As the day winds down, relish a delectable dinner featuring traditional Vietnamese cuisine, followed by an evening of relaxation and stargazing beneath the jungle canopy.

Enjoy a pure morning and breakfast at our campsite. We then venture deeper into this pristine wilderness, we arrive at the awe-inspiring Tra Ang Cave. Here, you'll have the incredible opportunity to explore the inner depths of the cave, with a refreshing swim along the 600-meter-long path unveiling the cave's hidden wonders. Following this unique experience, we break for a delicious lunch at noon. Our adventure continues at 13:00 as we set out on the trek back towards the Ho Chi Minh road. Along the way, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Enjoy a cool and refreshing drink as we reach Ho Chi Minh Road before our car drives you back to Phong Nha Center.

Having an early breakfast then our driver will take you to Dong Hoi train station to board the morning train to Hue. Arrive in Hue around noon time, and you’ll find our local guide waiting to escort you to our carefully selected hotel. 

As the sun sets, we will embark on an exciting culinary adventure. Hop aboard motorbikes or traditional trishaws to explore Hue's enchanting lanes and discover hidden culinary gems. These family-run eateries are renowned for their authentic local dishes, including a variety of Hue dumplings, flavorful sizzling pancakes, and aromatic beef noodles. Your taste buds will be treated to a symphony of flavors that capture the essence of Hue's rich culinary heritage. We'll return to the hotel around 8:00 p.m.

At 8:30 AM, we'll pick you up and kickstart the day's adventure on two wheels. Our next destination is Sinh village where you'll be immersed in the ancient craft of wood-block printing under the guidance of a skilled artisan. Afterward, we'll pedal our way to Thanh Toan village, where a delightful lunch awaits. Savor the flavors of authentic Vietnamese dishes prepared with love by the locals. As we dine, absorb the tranquility of this charming village and appreciate the warmth of its residents.

In the afternoon, we'll venture to the majestic Imperial Citadel, immersing ourselves in the grandeur of Vietnam's imperial past. Stroll along the ramparts, taking in the panoramic views of the city, before delving into the captivating relics nestled within the citadel's walls. Your day begins at 7:00 a.m. with a comfortable pick-up from your accommodation, followed by a scenic drive to Bach Ma National Park. As you ascend to Vong Hai Dai, be captivated by panoramic vistas of lush greenery and mist-shrouded peaks. Then, it's time for an invigorating trek along the mesmerizing Five Lake trail, leading you to the majestic Do Quyen waterfall. Amidst the beauty of nature, indulge in a delightful picnic lunch.

After immersing yourself in the park's tranquility, bid farewell to Bach Ma around 2:00 p.m. for a thrilling ride along the renowned Hai Van Pass, offering awe-inspiring views of the coastline and mountains. The trekking in Bach Ma National Park is about 6 km at a moderate level (suitable for most hikers and generally involves some trekking at moderate altitude, on fairly difficult terrain). For your safety, the trip is closed from Oct to Feb to avoid risks of flood and torrential rain.

At 8:00 AM, we'll pick you up from your hotel and provide bicycles for a delightful ride towards the captivating Cam Kim Island. Along the way, you'll have the chance to visit local houses, immersing yourself in their traditional handicrafts and learning about the region's rich heritage. 

Around 10:00 AM, get ready for an exhilarating kayaking adventure as we hit the water and paddle through the enchanting cocopalm mangrove forest, gaining insights into the local river life along the way. After an hour of immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature, we'll conclude the kayaking journey and head to a charming riverside eatery for a delicious lunch, savoring the flavors of Vietnam amidst picturesque surroundings. With hearts and bellies full, we'll transfer you back to your hotel, the trip ends around 1:00 PM.
