A boat trip beyond your imagination. Simply beautiful. For those who can't get enough and want to explore further and quieter corners of the lake.
We will leave our hotel at 7.30AM and travel by boat to the lesser visited area on the South of the Inle. The scenic boat trip takes about 2.5-3 hours. We will definitely gain some insight into the unspoiled culture and traditional lifestyle of its ethnic inhabitants, while enjoying a beautiful landscape.
We will visit the 108 'sunken' stupas of Sagar dated back from the 16th - 17th centuries that are partially underwater for a few months a year and continue to Thaya Gone village to see how the locals produce rice wine. Stops at Sae Khaung Pottery Village where villagers still use underground kiln and also at Tar Kaung, which, on the western shores of Sagar, houses a series of more than 200 stupas.
We will go back to our hotel by boat, arriving around 4:30pm
