20:30 - We depart the Handspan office (78 Ma May Street) to Hanoi Railway Station to catch the night train to Lao Cai.

Traveling by train from Hanoi to Lao Cai offers a traditional and authentic experience. The train cabins are generally basic but functional. The default option is a 4-berth sleeper cabin, where you're likely to share the space with other passengers. We also offer an upgraded option of a 2-berth private cabin which provides more space and privacy, ensuring a cozier journey.

Around 6:00 AM – Pick up from Lao Cai railway station to a local restaurant for refreshment and breakfast. Departing from Lao Cai, we'll then venture towards the hidden gem of Y Ty. Renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and distinctive cultural heritage, Y Ty offers a glimpse into a world less touched by modernity. Upon arrival, we’ll visit a village of Ha Nhi people, who are known for their skillful craftsmanship and intricately designed clay houses. Have some chit-chat with local villagers to learn more about their traditional agricultural practices, and explore their close relationship with the land. 

A tasty lunch at a local eatery invigorates you for the afternoon ahead. Traverse the scenic route to Sapa via Muong Hum, with an optional light trek to the Dao village along the way, allowing you to connect intimately with the region's natural beauty. By evening, you'll find yourself in the heart of Sapa, where you'll check in to your hotel and have the evening at your leisure.

8:00 – pick up from your hotel, we then start trekking from Sapa town to Golden Stream Valley. The trek offers some stunning views of the rice terraces, gardens, and Fan Si Pan mountain range. After crossing a suspension bridge, we will hike up to Lao Chai village for lunch. After lunch, we will explore the villages of Lao Chai (Black H’ mong) and Ta Van (Dzay). This trek is relatively easy, though the trail can be quite slippery if it rains, so good footwear is recommended. 

After visiting a family in the village, we walk to the main road to meet up with our driver and return to Sapa town.

14:00 - 14:30 - Comfortable shuttle bus departs from Sapa to Hanoi. Enjoy beautiful views driving along the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. The bus is equipped with large individual seats, A/C, and wifi. There are 2 stops on the way and dinner is at your own cost. 

You’ll arrive at the Hanoi center at around 20:00 - 20:30. End of our services.
