We will be enjoying an interesting journey plenty of contrasts which will surprise us for the variety of attractions and destinations visited. We are not just travelling between Vietnam and Cambodia, but making the most of a route which encompasses some of the best beaches in the Khmer’s country and also some of its hidden cultural gems.
Feel free to let your travel agent know in case you want the pleasure by the coast to last longer!

We will be received at the Prek Chak/Xa Xia border by our Cambodian guide and drive around 15kms to Kompong Trach, where we will be able to visit the cave temple at Wat Kirisan (optional) before continuing onto Kep (Cambodia’s first seaside resort, founded by the French in 1908) for lunch and taking a boat to the best beaches in the area of Koh Tonsay, also known as Rabbit Island.
We will be able to relax on the sandy beach, enjoy some seafood snacks or take a walk around the island to discover more beaches and a small fisherman’s hamlet where we can meet one of the local families. Late afternoon, we will return to Kep mainland for overnight.
Meals: breakfast | Accommodation: not included
After breakfast, we will take a ride on our bicycles (optional) to Kep’s famous crab market before heading along the 25km road towards Kampot.
Along the route we can stop at Phnom Sorsia, a holy mountain peppered with shrines and grottoes, pause at the Cham fishing village and then journey to Phnom Chhnork, a large sacred cave that contains a 7th century brick temple in remarkable condition. We will also find some time to discover the rural side of life in the countryside before we arrive to the riverside town of Kampot, with its fading colonial buildings and laid-back charm.
