We will be cruising down tree-lined boulevards, passing glistening pagodas and palaces, weaving through bustling streets, and meeting some locals.
From the back of a Vespa we will be following the city’s history from its earliest beginnings in the 15th Century, learning a little about the cities Colonial heritage, visiting S-21 Genocide Museum which gives an insight into Khmer Rouge. We will also get off the beaten track, winding our way through the back streets to a small community whose neighbourhood has become known for expressive street art. We will immerse ourselves in one of Phnom Penh’s busiest and least touristic markets where we’ll sample some local delicacies.
Afterwards we can pay homage to the hero of Cambodia’s independence, King Sihanouk at the Independence Monument and the King’s Statue. Finally, we will head to Phnom Penh's beautiful riverside, an popular area among local residents who come to enjoy the promenade, exercise and make merry in front of the Royal Palace.
