Pimp my float - A project in Halong Bay

Beyond doing our job in a responsible way, we have the will to get involved in some development projects of various scales. From our own initiative or requested by companies or organizations abroad to collaborate being their relay on the ground to lead a project, the idea is to give resources and means to local people for them to improve their socio-eco-environmental situation and to carry on their own development. Handspan supports an Ultimate Frisbee Competition

Because Sport and Tourism share the same values of respect, exchange and team spirit, and because a such event aims at gathering people to practice an enjoyable activity, Handspan decided to support the Vietnam Hat 2009 Ultimate Frisbee Competition.

With a club in Hanoi and another one in HCMC, Ultimate Frisbee is a sport more and more popular in Vietnam. For the sixth year running, the Saigon Ultimate Club is hosting the annual Year End Vietnam Hat tournament.

Save The Gibbon!

Handspan joined Fauna and Flora International (FFI), a conservation organization, in the promotion campaign for the Gibbon conservation. This specie is critically endangered with only few dozens remaining in the world. Some have been identified in Cao Bang Province, Northeast of Vietnam close to the China border, and a project has been created to protect them and their habitat. The persons in charge of this program at FFI, designed some t-shirts and bags printed with slogans, all for sale. Beyond raising funds for the program, the objective of this action is first and foremost to raise awareness of people about this unknown issue.

Handspan pre-celebrates the lunar new year with challenged kids

A week before the Lunar New Year celebration, Handspan visited some challenged kids who found a home at the Hanoi Centre for Rehabilitation of Malnourished Children. This centre was created about 20 years ago by a doctor on the purpose of providing a shelter and food to some abandoned kids because of their disability or of their parent's financial incapability of taking care of them.
